Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. [20] Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 13. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House, on May 30th, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed Communications Director in the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end of 2015.
